Polymer technology enables efficient water and sludge treatment through chemical dosing and pH control.
Safe water treatment
Through the use of polymers and chemical processes, water and sludge purification can be significantly improved.
We use pipe reactors that ensure efficient and controlled polymerization. The dosing system is fully automated and adjusts in real time based on flow rate, pH or turbidity.
All equipment is housed in secure chemical containers equipped with spill trays and monitoring systems.
Our polymer-based methods also utilize biopolymers, coagulants and pH adjustment chemicals to enhance sludge dewatering and solid separation, especially in GeoTube and press-based treatment processes.
Polymer and chemical treatment is suitable for:
- Sludge thickening in GeoTube or filter press applications
- Metal precipitation through pH control
- Reducing COD and BOD levels to support biological treatment
- Treating sludges within the pH 1–14 range, requiring specific chemical expertise and strong safety awareness
OwatecFloc and Floc20 – scalable reaction units
Owatec’s Floc systems provide a pipe reactor–based solution for chemical treatment and are fully integrable with other water treatment processes. They can be designed to match the exact capacity and needs of each customer.
Available units:
- Owatec Floc20 – capacity 10–250 m³/h
- Standalone pipe reactor (Floc) – capacity 10–50 m³/h
All units include automatic chemical and polymer dosing, pH control and standard safety features.
The equipment is container-based, easy to transport and quick to deploy even in field conditions.
